Code of Conduct
These are the standards we hold ourselves — and every person on this platform — to. Warm, yes. But firm where it counts.
Last Updated: March 2025
Our Community Standard
Heidi was built on a simple belief: everyone deserves human connection and compassionate support — especially during the hardest moments of their lives. Our community is made up of people who take that seriously.
Whether you're a client looking for support or a provider offering it, you are part of a community that values dignity, safety, and authenticity. These aren't just feel-good words — they are active commitments that shape how every interaction on this platform works.
We hold everyone on Heidi to the same standard: treat every person with respect, honor every boundary, and show up with care.
The Non-Sexual Boundary — Non-Negotiable
Every service on Heidi is strictly non-sexual. This is not a guideline or a preference — it is the absolute condition of participation for every person on this platform.
This means: no sexual communication, no requests or offers of sexual services, and no physical contact of a sexual nature — during sessions, through in-app messaging, or through any channel connected to this platform.
Any person — client or provider — who crosses this line is immediately and permanently removed from Heidi. Depending on the nature of the violation, we may also report the conduct to relevant authorities.
There are no warnings. There is no second chance for sexual violations. This boundary protects everyone, and we enforce it without exception.
Consent Framework
Every session on Heidi begins with a session-specific agreement. This agreement documents what services will be offered, what the boundaries are, and what both parties have explicitly consented to. Assumed consent is not consent.
- You may only provide or receive services that have been explicitly agreed to in advance
- Consent can be withdrawn at any time, by either party, for any reason — with no explanation required
- Changing the terms of a session mid-way requires explicit agreement from both parties
- Pressuring someone to expand the scope of a session is a conduct violation
Heidi's consent model is built on clarity. If it wasn't clearly agreed to, it doesn't happen.
Respect & Dignity
Every person on Heidi — regardless of background, identity, or circumstance — deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Discrimination, harassment, or dehumanizing behavior of any kind has no place here.
- Racist, sexist, transphobic, homophobic, or otherwise discriminatory language or behavior is not tolerated
- Harassment — including persistent unwanted contact, threats, or intimidation — results in immediate removal
- Mocking someone for their needs, identity, or the kind of support they're seeking is a violation
- Clients and providers are equal members of this community. Neither role confers power over the other.
Session Conduct
During every session, both parties are expected to:
- Arrive prepared and on time; communicate promptly if something changes
- Honor the session agreement — do not attempt to expand scope without mutual consent
- Maintain agreed boundaries throughout the session, even if the conversation feels natural and comfortable
- Avoid being under the influence of substances that impair judgment during a session
- Not share session details, personal information, or content from in-app messages without consent
- Use the in-app report button if anything feels unsafe — you will be believed and supported
Provider-Specific Rules
- You may decline any session for any reason — this right is protected and unconditional
- Do not initiate physical contact of any kind that has not been explicitly agreed to in advance
- Do not share client personal information with anyone outside the platform
- Do not solicit off-platform contact to avoid Heidi's safety infrastructure
- Complete all required training before accepting your first session
- Maintain current and accurate profile information including services offered and availability
- Report any client behavior that made you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, even if you're not sure if it "counts"
Client-Specific Rules
- Do not request, suggest, or attempt to negotiate services not listed in the provider's profile
- Do not attempt to contact a provider outside of Heidi's platform channels
- Understand that providers can end or decline sessions — this is their right, always
- Leave honest, accurate reviews — false reviews intended to harm a provider are a violation
- Do not share your own or a provider's personal information with third parties
- Treat providers as the skilled, caring people they are — not as a service commodity
Reporting Violations
We take every report seriously. You don't have to be certain something is a violation to report it — if something felt off, we want to know.
- Use the in-app report button during any active session for immediate escalation
- Submit a report via our contact page at any time
- Anonymous reporting is available — no account required
- All reports are reviewed within 24 hours by a trained member of our team
Retaliation against someone who reports a concern is itself a serious violation and will result in immediate removal from the platform.
